An enthusiast for drawing and travel, Reynald Aubert started<\/p>\n
doing both after completing his studies at the School of Applied Arts in Geneva.<\/p>\n
Discovering a country, architecture, urban design and its people via sketches<\/p>\n
made in situ inspires his creative work. It is at the crossroads<\/p>\n
of worlds that he loves to show in parallel.<\/p>\n
Back in Geneva, the colouring of these rough sketches is carried<\/p>\n
out from memory, mainly in acrylic. In this way, places and feelings<\/p>\n
are brought back to life, transformed, rendered \u00ab\u00a0dream-like\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n
or caricatured by his work after the event.<\/p>\n
A passion that Reynald Aubert conveys with confidence,<\/p>\n
due to having taught the art of sketching at the School of Applied Arts.<\/p>\n
In parallel to his main work as an illustrator, he organises<\/p>\n
courses in Geneva and abroad, Kyoto in 2016-17<\/p>\n
